Oban &m Lorn MRT
Oban Rotary Club President Ciorsti Baxter met with Oban Mountain Rescue Team Lead Gordon Binnie recently, thankfully not to be rescued off a hillside but to present him with a cheque for £1,000.
Gordon said that the money is gratefully received and will be used buy new equipment to ensure the Team has the most state of the art kit.
Oban MRT is an entirely volunteer run organisation that was set up by Gordon and two others over 20 years ago.
