In union with the Rotary Club of Oban, the renowned Audley Male Voice Choir are presenting a Charity Concert in St John’s Cathedral at 7.30pm on Friday, 27th October 2017.
The Choir, from Staffordshire, will be joined by The Sequence Ladies Choir from Oban and Pipers from Oban High School Pipe Band. The proceeds from the concert will be donated to Mary’s Meals.
It should be made clear that the Audley Choir will meet all the expenses of its mini-Scottish trip from the Choir Members personal funds.
In the past, Audley Male Voice Choir has shared the stage with many notable musical artistes, such as Sir Bryn Terfel and Sir Willard White. In addition, the Choir has performed with many Brass Bands, including Grimethorpe, Brighouse, Black Dyke Mill and more recently the Cory Brass Band. Through such concerts the Choir has raised thousands of pounds for Charity.
The Audley Choir is highly regarded and has appeared in 2 Concerts in the Royal Albert Hall, London. Additionally, the Choir has been invited to participate in the London Welsh Mass Male Voice Concert that is scheduled to be held in the Royal Albert Hall on 13th October 2018.
The concert on 27th October should be most enjoyable and provide a good donation to Mary’s Meals. Further details will be provided as matters proceed.
